Info for Youth Pastors:
Services That AIM Provides for Your Youth Group

  • Assessment – We listen carefully to your goals for your group’s spiritual growth and help you determine the appropriate level of ministry experience. Through the assessment process, we’ll help you determine where to go.

  • Training – We provide our mission training manual called Missions 101. This manual will lead you through step-by-step preparation, and even has reproducible handouts for your students. You can cover all of the material in eight sessions. We encourage your students to learn skills such as mime, drama, puppetry, and music ministry. We’ll provide resources and training material to help you and your group prepare.

  • Set-up – We manage the pre-field set-up for your mission trip. We’ll handle all of the arrangements for housing, meals, and ministry opportunities. This frees you to focus on training and preparing your group to go and to develop the needed ministry skills.

  • Lead – Our management of the trip continues during the trip. We manage your project, allowing you to focus on your students and their ministry. Depending on the size and special needs of your project, your project may be led by a single Project Leader or by a leader with staff that may include construction and ministry coordinators, interns, translators, and cooks.

  • Speaker/Worship Leader – On Level 1 mission trips, we provide a speaker and/or a worship leader who will challenge your students to give their best to God both during and after the trip. Each student receives a journal for use during personal devotion time on the trip.

  • Follow-up –We arrange with local pastors on the mission field to disciple new believers and others whom your students ministered to during their project.
