Questions That Care
When your teen returns home from the mission trip, instead of asking, "How was your trip?" try some questions that will get down to the heart level.
- Did [location] look like you expected it would?
- What sight are you most likely never to forget?
- Who did you meet with whom you plan to keep in touch?
- Would you do it again?
- What did you miss most about home?
- What will you miss most about [location]?
- What did you learn about yourself?
- What did you learn about God?
- Did you get a chance to share your faith?
- Is there anything you hope to change about your life as a result of your trip?
